If we sum up Sri Sai Baba's life, it is the spontaneous overflow of bounteous grace in the form of spiritual and temporal well-being, inundating those who take refuge in him.
A Sadguru is a concrete expression of our own abstract sense of fulfillment.
The melody that the Sadguru likes is the melody arising from the harmonious symphony of our emotions.
If we have an attitude of learning, we can see all the situations of our day to day life as the workings of the Sadguru.
Just as in an orchestra several artists plays different instrument each, we think we are playing one instrument. But the Sadguru is like a conductor, to whom all the different instruments are simply playing to the tune of a single melody.
We teach a child to write by holding her hand and the write A,B,C etc.. The child thinks that it is she who is writing - but who really writes? This is how it is with our learning also in the loving and caring hands of the Sadguru.
You think that your relationship with the Sadguru starts from the point of your meeting him in person. But for the Sadguru the meeting point is far, far earlier.
Blessed are those who realize that every bit of their fulfillment comes through the Sadguru, and only through the Sadguru, and remain absorbed in that very awareness.
